The Destination
Sipadan
Located in the Celebes Sea, in Malaysia, Sipadan is positioned in the middle of the Coral Triangle (Indo Pacific Basin), the richest and most biodiverse marine habitat in the entire world. The whole marine food chain in its entirety can be found here! This area sports 600+ different coral species and 3,000+ fish species. The island is also a bird sanctuary. Migratory birds such as wood sandpipers can be sighted along with sea eagles, kingfishers, sunbirds, starlings as well as megapodes. The island is a protected National Park and a no fishing zone.
July to September is the best time to dive at Sipadan as these months offer the holy trifecta of diving - calm seas, high visibility, and large shoals of schooling fish.

Tawau Hills Park
Tawau Hills Park is a national park that is popular for hiking, swimming, bird watching. The Park offers an impressively thick forest with trails for hikers of all abilities, rugged volcanic landscapes including a hot spring, spectacular waterfalls & natural pools, picnic areas, and camping site. The rainforest is home to the oldest tropical trees in the world and 7 major rivers originate here. The Tawau River flows through the middle of the park and forms many natural deepwater pools & waterfalls such as the famous Table Waterfall. Tawau Hills Park, was established in 1979, primarily as a protection for the water catchment area of Tawau town and Semporna Peninsula.

Arrive at Tawau Airport, where our team will be ready to receive you between 12 PM – 6 PM. Enjoy a comfortable van transfer to your hotel in Tawau, with check-in available from 1 PM onwards. Settle in, meet your fellow divers, and kick off the adventure with a special welcome dinner hosted by Oceaon—the perfect way to start this unforgettable journey!

Hello, I am Nishi and I’m a SCUBA diver, freediver, and entrepreneur. I used to be a data scientist but the call of Mother Ocean is bigger than us all. Few key life events and hours of introspection led me to quit the corporate world and I found myself sitting on the beach with a life jacket (yes, I did not know how to swim back then)! Over the last few years I’ve been grateful to have the opportunity to launch and grow our Maldives vertical, Mad over Maldives. Me and my team are humbled by the love and support we’ve received from our wonderful customers. Oceaon is now expanding boundaries and I am elated to host you in iconic dive destinations across the world.
